Inheriting school-wide donor-covered fee settings means using the school's actual configured setting, not automatically waiving fees or charging them to donors. The effective-setting lookup uses a project-specific record when present and otherwise the school's record. Review the effective school setting and a preview before interpreting the checkbox. Donor-covered fee collection and the institution's processing fees are separate concepts.
