What are Wealth Alerts?

Wealth Alerts tell you more about your donors than you previously knew. Wealth alerts are real-time notifications about high net worth ($1m+) individuals who made an online gift through GiveCampus. They are a powerful tool to help you identify and qualify major gift prospects and reinforce you stewardship efforts!

How do Wealth Alerts work?

• A constituent gives online via a GiveCampus Giving Form or Social Fundraising campaign.
• GiveCampus matches donor data against enriched wealth data screened by Windfall.
• Administrators get an alert with a secure link to view wealth information about the constituent who has a net worth of $1M+.

What does a Wealth Alert look like?

Wealth Alerts appear as an in-application notification, as well as an email to any Administrator listed on your Wealth dashboard with Notifications enabled.

What kind of information might you see?

After clicking into an alert, you will see a full wealth screen for the individual including net worth estimates, wealth indicators, and NTEE codes.

How do I know if I have access to GC Wealth Alerts?

If you see the $ icon in the upper portion of the left navigation menu, your school has access to either the full GC Wealth solution (which includes GC Wealth Alerts) or GC Wealth Alerts. The Advanced Platform Plan includes GC Wealth Alerts as one of its many benefits.

How do I upload data to power GC Wealth Alerts?

Up-to-date, precise net worth values are central to GC Wealth Alerts. Unlike legacy data aggregators that return wealth ranges at the neighborhood level, GC Wealth incorporates deterministic inputs and proprietary algorithms to deliver a precise net worth figure at the household level.

With GC Wealth, you can provide a new file to be screened once per subscription period (typically once/year). Successfully uploading files is an important part of a smooth screening process. It is a best practice to update the data annually.
