If you leverage GiveCampus's strategic partnership with Stripe for payment processing, it is easy to match up the deposits to your bank account with the corresponding donations on GiveCampus.
If you do not use Stripe for payment processing, please contact your payment processor for information on how to match deposits to your bank account with corresponding donations on GiveCampus.
Using Donation Reports
First, check your Reporting Settings to ensure the following columns are part of your default or custom report:
- date_of_deposit - identifies the date that a donation was deposited into your bank account.
- stripe_deposit - includes a unique identifier for each deposit. This column will also include PayPal deposit IDs
Next, download a time-range donation report (click here for more details on how to do this).
Finally, look for those columns in your downloaded report. All donations with the same deposit identifier were deposited together in a single transfer.
Using Deposit-Based Reports
Alternatively, you can use the Deposit-Based Reports that are part of settings in Online Giving.
Select the deposit and the report type (Default, Default expanded, Custom) then view or download the report with the constituent gifts.

Note: Deposit reports may include refunds, which will have information in the refund columns but represent a value that should be deducted from the deposit total
If you wish, you can use the "Reconciled?" checkbox to identify which deposits have completed entry or reconciliation.
Using the API
The GiveCampus API allows your school's systems to securely transfer constituent and transaction information, including deposit date and deposit id. You call also call for gifts using deposit date.
