In GiveCampus giving forms, available controls depend on your permissions and the interface used by your institution.
Identify the actual gift, originating campaign/form, payment/message type and delivered notification before editing templates. Changing a draft, another form or only a school default may leave the active message unchanged.
For the ordinary paid-contribution email, the application checks active conditional templates for that form. Exactly one matching conditional template is selected. If none or more than one matches, it falls back to the standard template; it does not mean a first-match priority among multiple matching conditions.
For the standard message, an active project/form template overrides the custom school template. Review its body, subject and sender as appropriate, activate the intended version and test the relevant path. Editing a template does not rewrite an already delivered message.
DAFpay uses a distinct confirmation path, and recurring/pledge messages have their own templates. Do not apply the ordinary paid-gift selection rule to every message type or interpret preview values as a real payment/grant. For link-color, spacing or other visual problems, inspect the actual editor and delivered markup/client. Include a screenshot of the affected message when contacting Support.
