Step 4: Modify DAF Confirmation Email
DAF confirmation emails are different than regular donation emails because, importantly, they cannot include tax receipt language. Remember that donors receive these tax receipts from their Donor Advised Fund providers directly and do not need a tax receipt when issuing grants out of their DAFs.
A default DAF email will be enabled automatically. You can customize your DAF confirmation email for any DAF grant distribution made on any form or campaign on GiveCampus.
Customize DAF confirmation email:
- Visit School Level Settings >
- DAFpay >
- Email Confirmation
Step 5: Update Reports & Gift API to Accommodate DAF Fields
There are additional and updated reporting fields that we recommend including in your reports and API calls in order to appropriately track your DAF gifts.
