Have you ever wanted to engage unique groups on your campus with some friendly competition in your fundraising campaigns, but they didn’t quite fit into your typical affinity categories?
As long as the campaign is supporting only one fund, or unrestricted gifts, we can repurpose designations on that campaign. This data can then be used to populate custom leaderboards, restrict matches, and encourage these groups to get involved.
Want to challenge student dorms to compete against each other in a giving challenge? Encourage participation from Greek organizations? Highlight most generous regional alumni groups? Let donors choose a favorite teacher to send to a dunk tank once you meet your campaign goal?
How to create repurposed designations:
1) Create all applicable ‘options’ as designations at the school level (Here’s a handy article on adding designations)
2) Add the desired designations to the specific campaign donation form via campaign settings
- In your campaign, select Motivation & Sharing > Leaderboards. Enable Custom Leaderboards, then click Manage Custom Leaderboards to create your designation-based leaderboard.
