Edit, publish/unpublish, post updates and download reports for assigned Tier 2 or Tier 3 landing pages. This is the role to consider when a tier-page owner needs to add updates but currently has Basic Tiered Landing Page Admin.
How this role works
This is a predefined administrator role. Partners can assign or remove the role; they cannot enable, disable or customize individual permissions inside it. The Permissions list on the role details page describes what the role includes—it is not a set of editable switches. Multiple assigned roles add their access together.
Role capabilities and access to particular campaigns, forms or tiered pages are separate. For actions on a particular page, confirm the person has that page or its parent campaign/group assigned. Some school-level gift, reporting and settings actions are broader than a page assignment; do not assume a page assignment limits every school-level action. Product availability, transaction status and other task requirements still apply.
Review or change the assigned role
A Superadmin or Fundraising Superadmin can open Online Giving → Administrators → select the person → Role(s). Use Add or Add Another, select the intended role, and choose Update Role(s). Review all roles already assigned before removing or replacing one. Check the relevant Campaign Access, Giving Forms Access or Tiered Landing Page Access section for page assignments. Giving someone a role can grant multiple abilities; choose a role that fits their responsibilities instead of adding a broader role solely to reveal one button.
To read the included capabilities in the interface, open Online Giving → Administrators → Roles → Tiered Landing Page Admin and expand the Permissions sections. If Roles is located in the consolidated administration menu, use School Dashboard → Administrators → Roles instead. These are reference lists; changing an administrator’s assigned roles happens on the person’s administrator record.
Tier-page updates and page assignments
Basic Tiered Landing Page Admin cannot add updates. Tiered Landing Page Admin can. A Tiered Landing Page Admin does not also need a separate campaign-update permission or a second role just to post to an assigned tiered page. The main campaign’s updates are a different scope. “Tier 2 campaign owner” describes responsibility for a page, not a predefined role name.
On the administrator record, use Tiered Landing Page Access → Individual Tiered Landing Pages → Add (or Add More), choose the campaign and page, then Add Access. Access to a Tier 2 page includes its Tier 3 children; assigning one Tier 3 page does not grant all other tiers. Ask the person to sign in on the actual campaign-page domain and refresh. If they still cannot find Updates, review Campaign Settings → Campaign Setup → Images & Display → Page Layout for a hidden or renamed section.
Included capabilities
The following are the capability labels included in this role. They describe access, not separate switches to turn on. Consult the feature’s how-to article for the steps to perform it. Features outside Online Giving also require the appropriate product to be available to your institution.
