Identify your volunteer interface and unlock access

For the newer Volunteer Management interface. Access and available actions depend on your volunteer or administrator role.

How to use

Open the school’s provided volunteer link and sign in with the invited account. GiveCampus offers a newer Volunteer Management interface and an established legacy VMS portal. Use the instructions for the interface on your screen.

Troubleshooting

Collect school, account email, portal URL without private tokens, role, and the displayed agreement/error. Do not apply legacy assignment or email instructions to the newer portal simply because both are called VMS.

Access requirements

Access requires the newer Volunteer Management feature enabled for your school plus the applicable volunteer/administrator authorization. A confidentiality requirement can block normal volunteer screens and redirect the user to Resources. Review and accept the required agreement through the offered flow; do not attempt to bypass it.

Resources and account settings remain available for supported actions while the confidentiality gate blocks other areas. School administrators previewing as a volunteer are generally prevented from making writes in that impersonated session. Return to the administrator view to make authorized changes.
