How to use
Open Online Giving → School-Level Settings for the available Branding, Affiliations, Designations, Donation Form, Company Matching, Recurring, School Fields, Reusable Form Fields, Tax Receipts, and Other areas. Payment-account, DAFpay, email-marketing, and registered-device controls appear separately when enabled.
Use the platform dashboard settings and administrator notification/preferences areas for their distinct purposes. Review the relevant campaign/form after changing a default, because some settings can be overridden at that level.
Troubleshooting
First identify whether the setting belongs to the school, a specific form/campaign, a product, or an individual user. Do not assume a school-default change overwrites every form-specific choice. A missing settings area may reflect product entitlement or role.
Branding inheritance and notification recipients depend on the affected feature and saved configuration. Confirm institution-specific currency, tax and billing questions with the appropriate school or GiveCampus team.
Roles for these settings
General school settings such as branding and affiliations are included in Superadmin, Fundraising Superadmin, or School-Level Settings Admin. School-level designations and fields additionally support Gift Management Admin. Financial settings, including DAFpay and registered devices, are included in Superadmin, Fundraising Superadmin, Finance Admin, or School-Level Settings Admin. School Dashboard settings use Superadmin, School-Level Settings Admin, or School Dashboard Admin; Fundraising Superadmin alone does not imply every School Dashboard setting.
A Superadmin or Fundraising Superadmin can review the person under Online Giving → Administrators, open their administrator record, and use Role(s) → Add / Add Another → select the role → Update Role(s). Roles contain fixed capabilities; partners select roles rather than turning individual permissions within a role on or off. Also review the assigned campaigns/forms or groups for actions scoped to those records. Roles are additive, so review every assigned role before narrowing access.
