Subscription and donor-detail permission are separate

Administrator roles, campaign/form assignments, and notification subscriptions are separate. Assigning a role does not subscribe someone to gift notifications. Receiving a notification does not necessarily let that person open the gift or see every donor-detail section.

A Superadmin or Fundraising Superadmin can review the person’s assigned roles and campaign/form/group access under Online Giving → Administrators, and subscriptions under Online Giving → Administrators → Notifications. Partners cannot edit individual permissions within a predefined administrator role.

For campaign gift notices, the donor-detail checks consider whether the recipient can view that campaign’s settings or belongs to the school’s donation-email list. Campaign settings access comes from the assigned role plus the campaign/group assignment. Selected project recipients and schoolwide subscribers must resolve to confirmed, eligible GiveCampus accounts.

The standard template has protected sections such as $ADMIN_ONLY_PROJECT_NOTIFICATION_SECTION$ and $ADMIN_ONLY_CUSTOM_FIELDS_SECTION$. Preserve them. Review the recipient’s role, campaign assignment, subscription and actual template before changing access; do not automatically grant Superadmin because another recipient sees more details.
