Subscription and donor-detail permission are separate

Recipients are drawn from fundraising administrators with Donation Notifications enabled plus the project's notification recipients, resolving confirmed, non-guest, non-tracking user accounts. Granting a role alone does not subscribe the user.

For the campaign notice, donor-detail sections check the recipient's permission to view that project's settings or membership in the school's configured donation-email list. The standard template uses permission-sensitive sections such as $ADMIN_ONLY_PROJECT_NOTIFICATION_SECTION$ and $ADMIN_ONLY_CUSTOM_FIELDS_SECTION$. Consequently, two subscribed recipients can see different detail. Review the recipient's actual project access and the chosen template before changing roles; do not assume a role name alone proves access. Preserve permission-sensitive sections when editing.
