Giving and event form abandonment reporting

The standard reports do not provide a universal step-by-step abandonment/drop-off dashboard for both giving and Events. Donation reports can include failed contribution records, while the ordinary Events registration table uses entry-complete states and is not every incomplete browser attempt. A visitor who never submits enough data may have no identifiable record, so failed counts are not a drop-off rate. Use a properly scoped analytics/data request for funnel measurement and state its denominator; do not infer abandonment from gifts divided by unrelated visits.
