Which constituent ID to upload for email

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

Use the institution’s external CRM constituent identifier in the outreach upload external_id field, preserving the exact mapping/leading zeros used by school constituent imports. It need not equal a GiveCampus internal person/user number. Use the current recipient CSV template with its required name/email fields and test known records rather than substituting GiveCampus IDs.
