Bitcoin and the crypto integration

For GiveCampus payment setup.

The crypto integration uses The Giving Block, and its currency catalog includes Bitcoin (BTC). Availability requires the school's crypto feature/product and configured Giving Block account. It is not automatically present on every giving form. The eligibility is for a one-time gift without recurrence, a pledge, or a positive donor-covered processing fee.

Where available, the donor chooses Pay with Crypto, selects the currency, and requests the displayed donation deposit address before transferring the intended currency. Use the address generated for that transaction; do not reuse a generic wallet address from another donation. Confirm the completed transaction rather than treating an address request as payment.

Ask the account/support team for the school's current setup, accepted options and pricing. A local integration or historical ticket does not confirm current contract terms or complete provider onboarding.
