Snippet permissions, editor transition and template search

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

Snippet/Saved Content creation and editing depend on the available editor and the administrator’s predefined role. Roles that include Outreach template creation/editing are Superadmin, Fundraising Superadmin, Advanced Campaign Admin, Communications Admin, Outreach Superadmin, Outreach Content Manager, Outreach Admin, Events Superadmin, Events Communication Admin. An Outreach Content Manager can prepare content but cannot send an outreach with that role alone. Ask a Superadmin, Fundraising Superadmin, or Outreach Superadmin to review Outreach → Administrators → select the person → Role(s), assign the appropriate role using Add Another → Update Role(s), and check the intended campaign/event access. The Roles page is a reference, not a place to switch individual capabilities on or off. Composer Saved Content is edited in Composer. Editor availability and template type can also explain missing controls; changing a role does not convert legacy content or enable a new editor. Fully-on-Composer schools have no per-message legacy opt-out; other rollout states offer default/opt-in choices. Ask Support about school-wide transition configuration rather than inventing an administrator toggle. The draft outreach search matches outreach names; the new-message template picker is a separate control whose options depend on editor/template availability.
