Select recipients, use exclusions, and review personalization

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

How to use

Add recipients through the supported sources, uploaded list, or segment controls. Review the included and excluded recipients before sending. Recipient management exposes filters, exclusions, refresh, source details, removal of individual sources/filters, and generation status.

Use the composer’s merge-token/personalization review and test send to check recipient-specific content. When substitutions are still processing, wait for their completion and review the resulting content before sending.

Troubleshooting

Source-list size is not necessarily the sendable-recipient count. Inspect the recorded exclusion reason and recipient state instead of assuming a missing person is a bug. An invalid address, opt-out, or processing issue should not be “fixed” by bypassing the exclusion.
