For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.
How to use
Open the outreach’s scheduling control, choose the intended date/time, and review the displayed schedule in the school’s time zone. To change or cancel it, use that outreach’s timing controls before sending begins.
Before you begin
The standalone scheduling update requires a scheduled time at least one hour in the future. The application also checks whether the outreach’s timing can still be changed. Clearing a permitted schedule returns the outreach to draft and removes its scheduled time.
Sent or scheduled outreaches cannot be removed through the draft-delete action. Canceling an eligible schedule and deleting a draft are different operations. A sequence-managed outreach may have its own timing behavior; do not apply the standalone rule blindly to every sequence or volunteer email system.
Troubleshooting
If timing changes are blocked, use the application’s stated reason and escalate if needed. A message that has already begun sending may not be cancellable or recallable. For texts scheduled today, the daily text limit may block scheduling; future-day sends are still subject to send-time checks.
