Preparing an email banner

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

Size the banner for the email’s content column, preserving its aspect ratio. The classic email editor defaults to a 600 px-wide content area, so a 600 px-wide displayed banner is a reasonable starting point there; a 1200 px source image can supply extra pixel density while displaying at 600 px. These are practical preparation suggestions, not mandatory upload limits or a universal Composer specification. Keep file size modest, include useful alternative text and send mobile/desktop test emails before using it.
