Mobile versus landline numbers

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

During recipient preparation, the service uses phone-line lookup results, reusing school validations from the last 24 hours when available. It accepts valid numbers classified as mobile or non-fixed VoIP; a landline classification is not accepted. Excluded records receive a “doesn't accept SMS” reason. A lookup error also excludes the number, so that reason alone does not prove it is a landline. Review validation results and provider errors with support before replacing a constituent's number or repeatedly retrying the send.
