Last Gift Designation versus imported gift history

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

The Last Gift Designation token reads collected GiveCampus gift records and their display designation, rather than a generic imported CRM last-gift field. Collection first looks for authorized/paid gifts matching normalized payer email, with a person-linked contribution fallback. Form personalization follows a separate path. A mismatch with CRM history or a form's suggested designation requires review of the actual recipient records and target form; it does not by itself prove an import failure.
