Event registrant token missing from Outreach's picker

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

The editor excludes event-group tokens unless the outreach is recognized as event-related: its sequence originates from an Event, or its audience query contains an event-related condition. Selecting or uploading email addresses alone is not proof that the message has that event context. Configure the intended event audience and recheck the picker.

The registered $EventRegistrant_First_Name$ token is resolved from event registration records linked to each recipient. Manually typing a registered token can enter the substitution path even when it was not offered in the picker, but it does not attach the missing registration data. A recipient without an available registration first name gets a blank value in this path and may generate a merge-token review. Review substitutions for the actual recipients before sending; a generic sample preview can use invented names. Exporting and reuploading recipients is not inherently required and can change their available data context.
