Understand a quoted 10,000-text limit

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

Distinguish a daily sending limit from a subscription-period allowance. Daily capacity varies by plan and school configuration; a quoted daily amount is not necessarily your annual allowance. The displayed school limit is the value to verify. Texting Settings describes the daily reset as midnight Pacific.

Outreach Usage shows separate Texts and Texts per Day bars when the texting subscription has a positive allowance, including the subscription period dates. Have the account team confirm the actual renewal date and allowance rather than assuming a calendar-month reset. The display text describes broader inbound/outbound usage than the sent-Outreach-recipient count measures, so do not use that display alone to certify a complete billing reconciliation.

A normal external webpage URL can be included as plain text in the text composer; the compiler preserves plain text. A GiveCampus-specific link selector is not a requirement to make every destination a GiveCampus page. Send a test and check the final URL; carrier delivery and external-site access are separate.
