Reply and opt-out email alerts

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

Being a super administrator does not automatically subscribe someone to text reply/opt-out email alerts. The school-admin notification processs select administrators whose receive_text_notifications preference is enabled. Inbound-message and opt-out processing queues these checks after five minutes; that is a queued delay, not an email delivery guarantee. An unread-message alert is skipped if the message has already been read; gift-officer conversations follow their separate notification path. Check each administrator's preference and the specific conversation/read state before diagnosing missing alerts.

No fixed text delivery time can be guaranteed from send-list size. Queue, recipient eligibility and provider delivery state must be checked for time-sensitive sends. The Outreach media validator accepts JPEG, GIF and PNG; use a supported image format for attachments. A branding/contact-name change in a recipient's phone is not guaranteed by sending a picture or ordinary text.
