For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.
In the Outreach drafts list, locate the intended message, use its trash icon and confirm Remove Outreach. The control requires edit access. The server permits removal only while the message is draft; sent or scheduled messages cannot be removed through that action. The confirmation warns that removal cannot be undone. Check the exact message before confirming; do not use deletion as a troubleshooting step for missing edits.
“Unable to save your outreach. Please try again.” is a generic failure message used by explicit draft-save and submission paths. It does not identify a particular content mistake. Preserve the current content before refreshing or leaving the editor; record the message URL, approximate time and action that failed for support. A rendered editor is not proof that its newest content was persisted. The successful explicit draft-save path displays “Outreach saved.”
For an outreach belonging to a sequence, open the original sequence and message; the sequence draft-save action redirects back to that sequence. Do not assume a missing standalone draft means the sequence message was deleted. If saved work is absent, retain any still-open editor content and have support investigate the record and save history. Ask Support about recovery options; recovery is not guaranteed. Avoid overwriting newer saved content with an older copy while investigating.
