Long text in recipient custom merge fields

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

A direct Outreach recipient upload can carry custom text values for merge tokens. Keep text reasonably short and review long examples in both desktop and mobile previews. Accepted CSV data does not guarantee a readable email layout. If you need unusually long values, test a small representative upload and ask Support to confirm any applicable limits before a larger send.
