Find replies and conversations needing a response

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

The Conversations filters include Has unread messages, Has no unread messages, and Has not been responded to. The last option selects conversations whose latest message is inbound. It is not a list of everybody who has ever replied, and reading a message is different from responding. Select one conversation-status option; combining statuses is not supported by the filter.

No Opt Out/In Messages excludes conversations with an opt-out record, including those subsequently opted back in. The separate Includes Opt Out Message and Includes Opt In Message options select that history. Do not combine No Opt Out/In Messages with the other opt-out filters.

To analyze incoming messages by date, use a text-message export. For date-based analysis, the text-message export includes Created At, Direction, and Text Conversation ID. Filter exported inbound messages by the intended date and time zone, and group by conversation if needed. Message rows and conversation rows have different meanings.
