Event sequences

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

An outreach belonging to an event sequence cannot use the ordinary standalone timing editor. Open the event's Sequences area and use its activation/deactivation control. For an active scheduled sequence, deactivation changes its outreach to draft; the parent event must be active or complete. Check the resulting state.

Activating a draft sequence requires valid send configuration and an eligible schedule; a scheduled timestamp earlier than one hour ahead is rejected. Already queued, sending or sent messages must not be treated as if they were ordinary scheduled drafts. Escalate a state mismatch to support.

A sequence's name (for example Follow-up) does not by itself establish that the audience is limited to guests. Inspect the actual recipient conditions before sending.
