Check whether campaign donor exclusions include offline gifts

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

Do not assume a campaign's Donors exclusion includes individual offline-gift uploads. In the campaign exclusion path, Donors resolves through the online-donation condition and contribution records; it does not query individual offline donor rows. The separate Online Gifts filter also targets contributions.

If a campaign includes offline gifts and the aim is to exclude everyone who gave, reconcile those donors against an appropriate additional exclusion list/source with the intended email addresses or phone numbers. Check the actual included/excluded recipients before sending. Reusing an old broad recipient CSV does not itself refresh donor status or guarantee offline donors are removed. Imported CRM donor status and individual offline campaign gifts are different sources.

The condition does not equate every returned contribution to settled cash; do not use this exclusion as a financial report. For a scheduled message, confirm the selected exclusion mechanism and refresh timing separately rather than promising that editing any CSV automatically changes its recipients.
