Troubleshoot volunteer email recipient order

For the established (legacy) Volunteer Management portal. Access and available actions depend on your volunteer or administrator role.

In the established volunteer-email interface, the recipient picker offers checkboxes and filters but no user-facing sort control. Renaming constituents or changing assignments is not a supported way to change display order. Report an unexpected order to support with the school, active role and a few non-sensitive examples.

This explains why alphabetical display cannot be promised solely from the application. Newer volunteer interfaces may have different controls and should be checked separately.

The eligible recipient set is also narrower than all assignments: it is scoped to relevant constituents and usable preferred-email values. Missing recipients and sorting are separate problems.
