“No href in link” prevents sending

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

This validation means the email contains a link element with an empty destination. Check the linked text, image and button blocks in the message. Supply the intended complete destination, or remove the unwanted link formatting, then save and revalidate. Changing the visible wording alone does not supply a destination. A blank quoted label can indicate a link without visible text.

The validator accepts HTTP/HTTPS and mailto destinations, with separate handling for recognized merge-token links and certain placeholder buttons. A bare # is not a universal fix. Verify the actual destination in a test message before sending; do not bypass the validator.
