Test texts and usage counts

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

A test text is a real outbound message and is stored with a test flag. The provisioning/overage calculation counts outbound messages other than dependent messages without excluding tests. However, the newer Outreach Usage display counts sent Outreach recipient records, a different calculation that does not directly count those standalone tests. Therefore a usage-screen number is not sufficient to promise tests are free or determine the invoice. Ask support to reconcile the applicable usage calculation and current school contract. Do not state a universal test-text billing rule from this snapshot.
