Smart Ask history requirement versus never-donor strategy

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

The five-year/recent-gift readiness check applies to the school’s imported giving-history dataset, not a requirement that every target donor give in each of five years and within six months. It also checks gift volume and basic biographical data. A conservative strategy can therefore be offered for less-frequent or never-donor audiences without contradicting that dataset requirement. Individual matching, prediction availability and recipient eligibility remain separate; selecting Conservative does not guarantee a usable prediction for every person. Smart Appeals is a separate feature.
