Permissions for Texting

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

The Online Giving Texting interface uses View Online Giving Texting for viewing, Manage Texting (Excluding Settings) for most actions and Manage Texting Settings for settings. The catalog assigns viewing/management to Superadmin, Fundraising Superadmin, Communications Admin and several Outreach roles. Settings are narrower: Superadmin, Fundraising Superadmin, Communications Admin, School-Level Settings Admin, Outreach Superadmin and Outreach Admin. Verify the needed action and school Texting capability rather than granting a broad role blindly.

Text outreach composed through Outreach uses Outreach permissions, including sending permission. GC GO texting has its own permission. Identify the product screen before choosing a role; a similarly named role is not a universal access rule.
