Designation and date must match the same gift

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

Online-giving segmentation has an Amount Given Over Date Range condition, so not all conditions are limited to current fiscal year. Combining that person-level condition with Given to Designation does not guarantee the same gift matches both. A donor may have an old gift to the selected fund and a recent gift elsewhere. To obtain exactly donors to selected funds in a date interval, filter a gift-level export by both criteria, deduplicate the intended constituent/email audience and upload that list as a reviewed segment. It is a snapshot and needs refresh as data changes.
