Create templates, reusable snippets, and tracked content links

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

How to use

Use the template controls to create/edit an email or text template, preview it, and create an outreach from it. Existing outreach can be cloned or saved as a template through its own actions. Check the audience and schedule after copying.

If Snippets is enabled under Outreach Settings, manage the reusable HTML snippets and their active state there. The content/link picker supports campaigns, giving forms, and events, including distinct general, tracking, personalization/autofill, and advocacy links.

Troubleshooting

Choose the link type matching the intended purpose. A placeholder button may look correct in the editor while lacking a usable destination. Send a test and verify the links. Older templates can have a composer-conversion action; conversion availability does not mean every template already uses the newer composer.

Scope

Email templates, text templates, snippets, and whole-outreach templates are separate reusable objects. Do not assume a change to one updates previously sent messages or every saved draft.
