Incomplete-gift-nudge unsubscribe affects campaign updates

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

It is not a global unsubscribe from every email, but it is broader than only that one nudge. The link records an incomplete-gift-nudge unsubscribe with its project context. Nudge eligibility checks that topic across the user’s unsubscribe records, so future nudges can be suppressed beyond that single attempt. Campaign-update recipients also exclude users with any unsubscribe for that project, so it can stop campaign updates for the associated campaign. Ordinary Outreach uses its own outreach/topic exclusions and is not automatically suppressed just by the nudge topic. You should not expect that all receipts stop, or that every other notification is unaffected.
