Resize images and style an email in Composer

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

For an existing email that uses Composer, open Outreach → Draft → Edit → Email Content. Select an image in the email, then open Block Settings. The Image → Layout panel includes S, M, L, Full and Custom width. The custom-width field accepts a value expressed in pixels or a percentage (its example is 300 px or 50%). This gives a specific place to enter a desired image width rather than relying only on size presets. Alignment offers left, center and right. Content includes Replace Image and Alt Text; the upload label allows PNG, JPG or GIF up to 10 MB.

Use Email Settings for document background, padding and margins, and content button/background/text/link colors, padding, border and corner radius. Use Block Settings for the selected image's own background, border and spacing. These scopes differ: changing content padding is not the same as resizing an image. The image-width control changes an image, not the width of the entire email body.

The editor provides Desktop, Mobile and full-screen previews. Review both preview sizes and test with representative constituent data before a real send. A preview does not prove identical rendering in every email client. These instructions apply to the Composer editor, not every legacy editor.
