Mixed phone punctuation in recipient CSVs

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

Text recipient uploads pass phone_number values through the texting number formatter. Ordinary valid US numbers can use punctuation such as (912)604-1782 or digits 9126041782; keep all ten national digits or the corresponding +1-prefixed number. The nine-digit examples 912604178 and 912604177 are missing digits, not equivalent formatting. This formatter adds +1 and is not a general international-number importer. Store phone columns as text to preserve digits and avoid spreadsheet scientific notation, then review invalid/excluded recipients. Normalization does not confirm SMS eligibility or consent.
