Where Send Test to Me sends

For the established (legacy) Volunteer Management portal. These steps differ from the newer Volunteer Management interface. Administrator controls require the appropriate school or volunteer-management permissions.

The legacy VMS test flow sends a [Test] message to the selected volunteer's email when present, otherwise the acting user's email. It can therefore differ from the address an administrator expects when working as a volunteer. The test merge uses sample constituent values; it is not a copy sent to the entire selected audience. A success notice is not proof of inbox delivery. For a missing test, inspect the expected address and message delivery record/error before assuming a platform-wide outage or repeatedly sending the real outreach.
