Removing a subset from one volunteer

For the established (legacy) Volunteer Management portal. These steps differ from the newer Volunteer Management interface. Administrator controls require the appropriate school or volunteer-management permissions.

The constituent-only unpair CSV is not an arbitrary-subset upload scoped by volunteer ID. For an entire role’s assignments, use the selected volunteer’s role-removal flow and confirm its volunteer/role scope. For only selected assignments within a retained role, use Modify Assignments Individually or request an authorized, explicitly scoped bulk operation. Do not use Unpair User’s Assignments or a broad constituent upload for a smaller subset. Spouse auto-pairing and retained-role reconciliation can affect which pairings remain; inspect the result rather than assuming every selected role tag means a pairing should disappear.
