Do-not-solicit restrictions on event reminders

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

Outreach excludes people with a solicit code configured to disable email Outreach, regardless of whether the message's subject calls it a reminder. Outreach applies Disable Outreach codes for email and Disable Texting codes for text; it does not infer solicitation intent from message content. Review the exclusion reason and the school's mapping with the authorized data owner. Do not delete a person's restriction or bypass it simply to force a reminder; a legitimately different communication policy and supported event notification route require review first.
