Activity summary notes versus Email Deliverability

For the established (legacy) Volunteer Management portal. These steps differ from the newer Volunteer Management interface. Administrator controls require the appropriate school or volunteer-management permissions.

The Volunteer Notes section of Volunteer Activity Summary reports recorded notes, including their note types. A note labeled “gift conversation” is not proof that an email was sent through GiveCampus. It need not create an Email Deliverability row.

For a missing actual email, confirm the volunteer used the platform's email-send action and compare date, volunteer, template and mail-event filters in Email Deliverability. The report uses notification aggregations and caches a filter result for ten minutes. Check the underlying notification/delivery history with support if a confirmed send is still missing; do not infer delivery from the activity digest alone.
