CSV greeting and institutional salutation

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

For a direct Outreach recipient CSV, populate the standard first_name header and use the Csv Recipient First Name merge field. It reads the upload row first, with segment/person records as fallbacks. Use the recipient template including external_id, first_name, last_name, and email_address. To preserve an exact custom institutional salutation, add a custom_salutation column and insert its custom merge token after upload. Arbitrary non-custom extra headers do not become merge fields. Confirm the audience source before applying this direct-upload recipe to a database import or registration audience; preview actual substitutions before sending.
