A person appears on two recipient lists

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

The email audience generator groups recipients by normalized email address and avoids creating another recipient with the same address within the same outreach. Overlapping included segments therefore need not produce duplicate recipients for the same address. Different email addresses can still be separate recipients, and separate outreaches remain separate sends. This is not a universal deduplication promise for every product or import flow. Check the resulting recipient list and exclusions before sending. The recipient-list search matches email address, not displayed recipient name. Search with the address; a name-only search can return no results even when that name appears in the list. Searching recipients is separate from deleting them; Remove All is not a safe search-reset operation.
