A hashtag or URL warning remains after editing

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

Inspect the hyperlink destination, not only the visible text. The current validator accepts HTTP, HTTPS and mailto links; an ordinary text link whose entire destination is # fails validation. A valid full web URL containing a fragment such as https://example.org/page#section is not rejected merely for containing a hashtag. Use the link label in the error to locate the remaining anchor, including image or repeated content links, correct or remove it, save and validate again.

In the current composer, blank or # placeholder buttons produce warnings rather than blocking errors; unrelated # text links still fail. A historical interface may differ. Test the final links and verify that each newsletter actually shows the intended scheduled state and time; removing a few visible characters does not confirm that every underlying link was corrected.
