Configure Smart Appeals and review donor follow-up reporting

For school administrators using GiveCampus Outreach. Controls can differ between the classic email editor and the newer Composer editor.

How to use

When Smart Appeals is enabled, open its Online Giving menu. Use the available appeal, email-template, batch, email-setting, and export controls to configure the intended follow-up. Review Reporting for the overview, anniversary donors, recurring donors, unsubscribed donors, and solicitations.

Troubleshooting

Identify the specific appeal/template, donor category, and recorded solicitation before diagnosing a missing message. An eligible-looking donor is not proof that a message was scheduled or sent. Check unsubscribe state and the configured sending rules.

Account-specific settings

Appeal timing, recipient eligibility and retry behavior depend on the selected appeal and school configuration. Review the configured appeal and contact Support if you need help explaining a specific recipient or send result.
