Location summary versus Home Address

For the established (legacy) Volunteer Management portal. These steps differ from the newer Volunteer Management interface. Administrator controls require the appropriate school or volunteer-management permissions.

The constituent location summary and Home Address use the same underlying address: summary shows city with state or country, while Home Address includes street lines and postal details. They are not separate physical and mailing-address slots. The default summary label is Current Location and your school can use different labels for that field and Home Address. Older school displays may use another label.

Have the authorized VMS administrator/support review the school's aliases and role visibility when a rename or removal is needed. Renaming a label does not create another address, change imported field mapping or preserve a second physical address. Confirm the intended mailing-data source before replacing address values.
