Attach an existing volunteer tag

For the established (legacy) Volunteer Management portal. These steps differ from the newer Volunteer Management interface. Administrator controls require the appropriate school or volunteer-management permissions.

In the volunteer view, open an assigned constituent and use the assignment’s Tags section. Enter/select the existing tag name from suggestions and submit. Creating a tag in the tag manager does not attach it to assignments. This path is scoped to the current volunteer’s assignments.
