Bounced volunteer email reporting versus sender alerts

For the established (legacy) Volunteer Management portal. These steps differ from the newer Volunteer Management interface. Administrator controls require the appropriate school or volunteer-management permissions.

The SendGrid event processor records bounce/drop events and delivery state; it does not send a separate bounce-alert email to the volunteer in that processing path. Administrators can use Volunteer Management Reporting → Email Deliverability and filter Bounced, which combines bounce and dropped events, then inspect/export the affected notification/recipient. Do not assume a personal inbox bounce for every invalid address, and distinguish this workflow from a connected personal-email product.
