Attach a volunteer email template to an existing campaign dashboard

For the established (legacy) Volunteer Management portal. These steps differ from the newer Volunteer Management interface. Administrator controls require the appropriate school or volunteer-management permissions.

In established VMS, open Roles → Fundraising Campaign Settings. On each affected role’s existing campaign row, select Email Template and save the dashboard settings, then preview that role’s volunteer dashboard. Relaunching the campaign is unnecessary. The selector offers active all-volunteer templates and eligible role-targeted templates, excluding year-conditioned templates. Publishing a template alone does not attach it to a campaign/role; staff-to-volunteer templates are a separate library.
