Update NXT demographics from event registrants

Export event registrant/attendee contact fields and reconcile changed emails/phones against verified CRM constituent IDs before an authorized CRM import. The event participant export is not a guarantee that every new contact value overwrites NXT constituent demographics. Confirm any enhanced connector options and field rules with the integration owner; do not merge people or overwrite preferred contacts solely by a shared email.

Why is Phone blank when I create an NXT constituent from an event?

A phone number collected during event registration is not guaranteed to prefill the Phone field in the new-constituent review. Event registration information and a related online gift are separate records; the optional event-gift creation does not copy the registration phone into that gift. Creating a constituent from a standard giving-form gift can therefore behave differently from doing so from an event.

Before creating the new NXT record, enter the verified phone number in the editable Phone field on the review screen. For an event registration with a constituent error, open Events → Events → select the event → Registrations → open the registration → Fix RENXT Error and choose Create a new constituent in Raiser's Edge NXT when that is the appropriate resolution. Check the proposed details, enter the phone, then Push to NXT. If reviewing the related gift in Gifts to Review, review and correct Phone in that workflow's new-constituent form instead.

These corrections specify the new constituent data sent to NXT. They do not rewrite the original gift. Do not create a second constituent if the correct resolution is to associate an existing NXT record.
